steph/adam project
I'm sure some of you would have seen the movie Julie & Julia, it's about cooking...all about a woman who's project goal is to cook all of Julia Child's recipes in "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in 365 days. I have probably watched this film more than twice but I couldn't help it, I love cooking.
This in a way has sparked something in me to do the same thing but my challenge will not be Julia Child's recipes as I am dreadful (not quite) at using the oven and I have more of a knack for Asian food. So I have decided that I will cook from Adam Liaw's recipes in "Two Asian Kitchens". In the Old and New Kitchen; Adam explores recipes that he has grown up with, along with new creations. For those of you who don't know who Adam is, he was the winner of the 2010 Australia MasterChef.
Well, my aim is to cook one (or two) of his recipes each weekend and hopefully complete the book by end of the year or early 2012. There are 81 main recipes in Adam's book and my challenge to myself is to cook cook cook.
